Take a walk, hike or bike at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve. With over 1700 acres of land, the park provides a diverse landscape for fishing, bird watching and nature photography as well. The park is open from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week, year round.
For a quick walk - head over to Betty Allen Twin Ponds Nature Park located directly off of 25A and the corner of Stony Hollow Road. Be sure to be on the lookout for the bald eagles of Centerport! Grab a snack afterwards at Hometown Bakeshop down the road - their baked goods are top notch.
Sweetie Pies On Main: Grab an iced coffee and indulge in a rainbow cookie crumb - sit back and relax on the patio.

See a Broadway quality show on the Island. All month long Engeman Theater will be performing Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder. If you’d like to bring the kids check out Madagascar A Musical Adventure as well. Then a Aida - an epic tale of love, loyalty and betrayal, will be performed May 9th - June 23rd.

Star Wars fans- get ready for Worlds Far, Far Away… a special event at the Vanderbilt Planetarium that explores the galaxy of Star Wars, on Saturday, May 4, at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 p.m. Have time to spend before the show? Take a mansion tour of William K. Vanderbilt II’s 24-room, Spanish-Revival mansion, during the afternoon or peruse the lush estate grounds overlooking Northport Bay.
