Fourth of July on Long Island

There's nothing quite like Fourth of July on Long Island. Whether you are spending your day outside firing up the grill, lounging poolside, or relaxing on the beach, there is something going on for everyone… and what would it be without an epic fireworks show?

Get an early start on the festivities during the 27th Annual Saint Anthony’s Family Feast & Festival from Wednesday, June 27th through Sunday, July 1st. Fireworks will be held on Wednesday & Saturday night.

Festival is free admission with special ride prices. Exciting rides and games provided by Newtson Shows, international food court, live entertainment, raffles and much more. Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, 20 Cheshire Place, East Northport.

 

The Annual Asharoken Village Fireworks Show will be held on Wednesday, July 4th.

Fireworks are launched from a barge on the Long Island Sound at approximately 9:15 pm. The rain date is Thursday, July 5th.  One of the best places to watch this show is at Crab Meadow Beach (open to Town of Huntington residents). The Grucci fireworks show can be seen throughout the area including Centerport Beach on Little Neck Road, Hobart Beach on Eatons Neck Road and Asharoken Beach on Asharoken Avenue. There is no parking on any village street and traffic laws are strictly enforced.

The Italian American Saint Rocco’s Festival in Oyster Bay will be held from Monday, July 11th through Friday, July 15th. The festival will feature fireworks, specialty Italian food, rides, live entertainment and raffles. The fireworks show will be held on Friday, July 13th. Held at Fireman’s Field on Shore Avenue.

 The 115th Annual Huntington Manor Fireman's Fair will be held from Tuesday, July 17th through Saturday, July 21st at Henry L. Stimson Middle School. This is the largest firemen’s fair on Long Island featuring rides, games, gambling, live bands, food and of course… fireworks! There will be an annual parade held on Wednesday, July 18th at 7:30 pm starting at 22nd Street in front of Oakwood School.

Fireworks will take place Wednesday through Saturday night once it becomes dark.
